Legacy & Craft

20+

Years of celebrations, cooked with patience.

Built over generations, remembered at every table. This is how a family kitchen became an atelier of feasts.

  1. A Hearth Is Lit

    01 · 2004

    A Hearth Is Lit

SAYS began in one family kitchen with a simple vow: celebrations deserve food cooked the honest way. Heirloom recipes, hand-churned ghee and spices bought straight from the farms became the quiet signature guests still remember.

  2. The Foundation Of Taste

    02 · 2004 – 2010

    The Foundation Of Taste

Word travelled from one wedding to the next. Master cooks from Lucknow and Rajasthan joined our kitchen, and slow-cooked dum, copper degs and patient preparation turned family functions into feasts worth retelling.

  3. Cooking Steps Into The Light

    03 · 2010 – 2015

    Cooking Steps Into The Light

We brought the kitchen out front. Live counters, open flames and plated theatre turned dinner into a performance, letting guests watch their food being crafted moments before it reached them.

  4. Feasts Beyond The City

    04 · 2015 – 2020

    Feasts Beyond The City

Our teams began travelling with the celebration — palace courtyards, beach lawns and hill forts. Whether forty guests or five thousand, every setup carried the same care as a private table at home.

  5. The Sweet Atelier

    05 · 2020 – 2023

    The Sweet Atelier

Traditional mithai met modern pastry craft. Hand-rolled sweets, dried fruits from trusted growers and delicate gold leaf gave our dessert tables a voice of their own.

  6. A Legacy Still Being Written

    06 · Today

    A Legacy Still Being Written

Today SAYS works as a culinary atelier. Every menu is composed around the family it serves — their roots, their rituals, their guests — so each celebration tastes unmistakably like theirs.

Our philosophy

Every feast should taste like the family it belongs to.
